On 7th November 2009 Abdul (Hitman) Hamit won the 90 kilo championship at Luton, in Lei Tai competiton. The rules being that anything goes, elbows, knees, throws punches and kicks, including grappling, that you have about 3 to 4 seconds to apply a lock, that simply keeps the fight going.

Abdul simple over powered the current champ, being too strong for his opponent. in round two the fight nearly came to a sudden end with abbs firing a high kick to the opppoents head that almost caused the fight to stop. Abbs was holding back due to a shoulder injury that happened 4 weeks earlier during a grappling sparring class at stratford. He is back in form now and his next up and coming fight is in May
